I did some thinking
haha.. the title seemed as though i seldom use my brain.. (don't agree k)

Had a number of flashbacks of the past recently.. keep thinking about them.. thinking about the reasons behind it all.. i was really thinking hard.. for days, many days..
Then today while i was having tea with my mother and aunty, a phrase came into my mind'
"Testings, temptations, hurts from others, persecutions, objections.. are eventually directed at our relationship with GOD."
Let me explain myself before you agree or disagree..
It all started with this poem:
The Final Analysis
People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered;...Forgive them anyway!
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;...Be kind anyway!
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;...Succeed anyway!
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;...Be honest and frank anyway!
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;...Build anyway!
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;...Be happy anyway!
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;...Do good anyway!
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;...Give the world the best you've got anyway!
You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God;It was never between you and them anyway.
Testings and temptations may come in the form of actions by others, or self-inflicted.. no matter who did what.. i believe it targets at the strength of our relationship with God (which influence our response). The more we love God, the more we will choose to stand by God's way, we will repent faster.
Testings reveals our current stand in God and builts it firmer in Him.
Temptations from the devil is out to break our relationship with God.
Our choice of response will be influence by how much we love God; how close we are to our maker.
Build it well, build it strong.

- Secondly, love God back in response
