Where is the truth?

John 8:25
"Who are you?" they asked.
"Just what I have been claiming all along," Jesus replied.


Jesus is very wise in His words.. there wasn't even a single chance for the religious leaders to find any chance of persecuting Him for what He spoke, therefore He prevented Himself from dying before the appointed time.. (actually, it already feels quite bad that you know you have to die, but it is made all the more worse when you need to plan that you die at the correct timing..) Instead of telling the people directly about the fact that HE IS the SON of GOD (which will bring Him immediately persecution from he religious leaders, for it is a sin to make yourself equal with God..).. He revealed who He is on many occasions, little by little.. for them to piece up the whole picture of who He is, where He comes from, what is His purpose...


On many occasions, Jesus spoke in parables.. ever wonder why?

The parables that Jesus used were not difficult to understand.. He uses everyday terms and familiar situations to illustrate His points e.g. fishing, farming... to the crowds so that they can understand. However, the spiritual significance of the parables seemed incomprehensible to those who opposed Jesus or simply not attuned to his message. For those who are seeking the truth, will "dig" through His words and discover for themselves spiritual insights.. however, to those who are not interested, will not bother but just leave it as something a little more than fascinating.

Jesus wants you to know why you believe, He wants us to think about what He said and conclude for oursleves - what we choose to do. For us who know God - in the end, no one else, not even God can be blamed for the decisions we choose, the path we want to take. Whatever is necessary for us to know and make the decision, He left it in the bible (where we can so easily access to everyday).

Look for whales in the sea, eagles in the air and lions on grasslands - look for the truth in the right places from the right people. Stop living a lie.
